Every person decides to embark on a journey for a different reason. Whether it was out of love, financial needs, or you just simply grabbed your backpack and decided to explore the road, I think we all face some stages of adaptation and sometimes even struggles, while trying to settle down in a new country.

When I finally decided to get my Mexican driving license, I was already living in Mexico for a few years, but it didn’t take me that long to realize that driving in Tijuana was going to be an adventure. I knew little about the process of obtaining a driving license in Mexico, but I did not expect to receive my driving ID in just a few hours after I finished the driving test.

During the time I lived in Baja California, Mexico, I saw my dream come true. I was living by the ocean, in a small gated community, between Tijuana and Rosarito, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful houses, and cobblestone streets. Every day, I had the blessing to enjoy a different sunset.
